We no longer present Sarlat-la-Canéda, capital of the Périgord Noir. The city that has survived the centuries is the ideal starting point for your walks and excursions to the Dordogne Valley. By staying with us, you will have the advantage of being able to explore the city on foot, lose yourself in its winding and hidden alleys, all in the light of day or under the warm lamps of the evening.

Lovely medieval accommodation, very charming rooms and building with lots of character. Centrally located in medieval city in Sarlat and a short walk to many sights, restaurants and attractions. Helpful host and great value buffet breakfast to start the day.

La Villa des Consuls is located in the heart of old Sarlat, with all the amenities that entails. The staff is nice and helpful, putting us in touch with a great guide and setting up our taxis to and from the rail station. Breakfast is tasty and reasonably priced, but above all, our two bedroom room was spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. It also included a usable kitchen and a small balcony overlooking the main commercial street. Despite that, it was quiet. I highly recommend this hotel.

This two bedroom apt (Montesquieu) was a highlight of our trip. My sons enjoyed having their own bedroom, and I loved how bright any airy the apt was. The location is perfect. I emailed the hotel in advance and they booked us a garage spot a ten min walk away, which was necessary. We loved our stay in beautiful Sarlat!
